Grand Prize

Canadian Kawasaki Motors will award a 2019 KX or KLX package to the 2018 Team Green rider with the highest amount of points accumulated on the grand prize leaderboard. Each rider’s grand prize scorecard is calculated by selecting a rider’s best regional and national results (top 20 results across all disciplines and regions), plus any earned championship points.

The grand prize winner will have the choice of a 2019 KX or KLX along with a huge Kawasaki parts & accessories credit.

*Credits are before tax at MSRP

Previous Grand Prize winners of the Team Green Rider Support Program are not eligible to win a Grand Prize within one year of their previous win. If the previous winner does win two years in a row, they will be given a $5,000 (before tax at MSRP) parts & accessories credit and the grand prize will not be awarded. Employees of Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc., affiliates, dealers or subsidiaries and members of the immediate family and household of each are not eligible for the Grand Prize. The grand prize will not be awarded to Quebec residents due to the Société des Loteries du Québec laws.

How do I get started?

All riders must register on teamgreencanada.ca to be eligible for contingency. The first step is to visit your local Canadian Kawasaki Motors dealer and ask about being a part of their team. Dealers are not limited to the number of riders on their team, but they are looking for the right candidates who want to have fun in a challenging sport and possess the true attitude of a Team Green rider. Eligible riders must have a valid email address, phone number and home address to register and to receive Team Green Program updates and approvals.

After the rider has discussed with their chosen dealer being a part of their team, visit teamgreencanada.ca and click on the REGISTER NOW! Button to create your profile (returning Team Green riders, please login as you would normally do in the login fields near the top right corner of the website). If you have any questions during registration, contact us via teamgreencanada.ca/contact

How to enter points

To collect your points, you must submit your race results to the teamgreencanada.ca site within 45 days after the race takes place. To submit points for races that have been completed, a rider must log into their dashboard. Near the top, the rider will click on the icon ADD RESULTS. From here, the rider will select the event they participated in, choose the discipline, race class and the bike they rode. Finally, the rider must enter their overall rank they received in that event. After the rider clicks the SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL button, they will receive an email notification that their results have been submitted.

Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. will then review the rider’s submitted event results for accuracy. Upon approving the rider’s submitted event result, the rider will receive a notification email their results were approved. It is the rider’s responsibility to submit his or her own event results within 45 days.

All riders can see a list of all submitted results under their dashboard. A rider can scroll down and beneath their NEWS section and see a table that shows all their results submitted to date. In the first column the rider will see a message of either “Approved” or “Pending” for the results submitted.

IMPORTANT:If a rider edits their profile after it has been approved, they will need to wait for approval before they will be able to enter results. Previously approved bikes (and the ability to submit results for previously approved bikes) will not be affected while the new bike is pending approval.

Please take note of the following rules regarding points:

  • Points accumulated in one discipline/region cannot be combined with points accumulated in a different discipline/region, except for the Grand Prize Leaderboard.
  • Points accumulated in amateur national events (Walton, Western Amateur National and Eastern Amateur National) will be accumulated with the regional event points and will no longer count toward the Grand Prize points.
  • Points accumulated in different eligible classes within the same discipline within the same region will be combined. (Remember that different eligible motorcycles must be used to collect points in more than two different classes at the same event.)
  • All events are subject to change without notice. Check the eligible list of events on a regular basis for cancelled or added events.

Championship Bonus Points

Riders who win a series championship in their chosen class will receive an additional 100 Points. For championship points to be awarded, the championship must be comprised of more then 4 separate individual weekend rounds / events. Championships with more then four rounds / events, but with multiple rounds / events carried out on the same weekend or less then 4 separate individual weekends, will not be considered eligible for championship points. Championships must be approved or declined by CKM according to the guidelines above. ANQ's will not count towards championship points.

In the Event of a Tie

In the event of a tie, Canadian Kawasaki Motors will review the results of each rider, the individual with the best race-finish average over the entire season will be awarded the prize. In the event of a further tie, after reviewing the race-finish average, the winner will be selected randomly from a pool of the tying participants. Once the winner has been determined by the process outlined above, the decision is final.

Ladies MX points

The points system for the Ladies MX discipline has been combined with the general MX points system, although the monetary award(s) for the Ladies MX class still remain. Female motocross riders should select the “Motocross” discipline during the creation of their profile. To collect points for the Ladies MX regional awards, a rider must select and enter their results in the appropriate Ladies MX class, the points for that class/event, if approved, will count toward the regional Ladies MX awards.
